The history of Cartier is fantastic, as it invented many styles of watches that are still produced today. Founded in 1847 by Louis-Franois Cartier, this company was originally a jewelry boutique. The first wrist watch made by Cartier was called the Santos Dumont named after the Brazilian Aviator in 1904. 2 years later, Cartier began experimenting with jewel - encrusted watches. 1917 saw the introduction of the famous Cartier Tank watch. Long regarded as the single most important and influential watch design of the 20th century, the distinctive timepiece was designed in tribute to the Allied Tank commanders who helped defend France during World War I. Today its watches are Swiss-made with French high style, clearly one of the most stylish and innovative watch manufacturers in todays market.

Pricing:

If you decide not to have your watch serviced you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.
Otherwise, the cost of return shipping will simply be calculated and added to total cost of the watch repair.

Water Proofing:

If your watch is water resistant and requires additional parts to pass a pressure test we will inform you of this before replacing them.
Additional parts required are available at an extra cost, and we will use only original Cartier parts providing they are available!
